Pune will become the center of agri-innovation in a groundbreaking project that will bring technology innovation to India’s agricultural core. From June 1–3, 2025, the city will host the first-ever international agriculture hackathon in the country, a historic occasion organized by the Maharashtra government.

Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar, a key proponent of the hackathon, underscored its pivotal role in nurturing innovative research and charting a new course for the state’s agricultural sector.
